Below are various case studies including analysis data sets. Each case study is rated on a scale of 1 to 10 for difficulty regarding knowledge of software and analysis skills required. Please note that when you download a case study, you will obtain a zipped file containing the following:
- A Word document describing the project background
- The data set(s) in either tab delimited or Excel file format
- A complete data dictionary listing all data, descriptions, formats and data ranges for each sample provided

Case Study #1 -- Build a clone regression model based on an analysis sample of 57,000 names and 67 different predictor variables for a marketer trying to penetrate a major compiled list. A 35,000 hold-out sample is also provided for model validation. SAS OR SPSS is required. This case study requires knowledge of Chapters 6, 7, 9 and 10.
Difficulty level of this case study is a 9. (Please note that this case study file will take approximately 15 minutes to download due to size.)

Case Study #2 – Build a regression response model based on a sample of 10,000 house names test promoted for a new cook book offer. This sample contains 6 pieces of internal RFM data elements and 2 demographic data elements. SAS or SPSS required. This case study requires knowledge of Chapters 6, 7, 9 and 10. Difficulty level of this case study is a 7.

Case Study #3 – An introduction to modeling for marketers, this case study is based solely in Excel. Create a regression response model on a small sample of 150 customers and three RFM predictor variables. This case study requires knowledge of Chapters 6, 7, 9 and 10. Difficulty level of this case study is a 5. |
